Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced International Sales Manager/Executive with a strong background in the agriculture industry. Based in Surat, Gujarat, the successful candidate will be responsible for driving international sales initiatives, expanding market presence, and fostering key relationships with global clients.
Responsibilities:
Market Expansion: Develop and execute strategies to expand the company’s market reach in the international agricultural sector.
Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing international clients while actively seeking and cultivating new partnerships.
Sales Target Achievement: Set and achieve ambitious sales targets, ensuring consistent revenue growth and market share expansion.
Product Knowledge: Possess in-depth knowledge of agricultural products, industry trends, and competitive landscape to effectively position our offerings in the global market.
Negotiation and Contract Management: Lead negotiations with international clients, finalize agreements, and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
Collaboration with Cross-functional Teams: Work closely with various internal teams, including marketing, logistics, and product development, to align strategies and meet customer needs.
Market Research: Stay abreast of industry developments, competitor activities, and market trends to identify new opportunities and mitigate potential challenges.
Travel: Willingness to travel internationally to meet clients, attend trade shows, and participate in industry events.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Agriculture, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
Minimum of 4 years of experience in international sales, preferably in the agriculture industry.
Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels.
Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to travel internationally as required.
Proficiency in relevant software and CRM tools.
